Basketball & Architecture

I have been working at the Zurich architectural firm Giuliani.Hönger for almost seven years.   At the same time, I'm consistently pursuing my goal of becoming a professional basketball player. Over the past two years, I've established myself in the National League A (NLA) and made a name for myself. The path to this point was anything but easy, especially as a player from Zurich, where training and recovery opportunities are limited. This made the moment all the more significant for me when, after intensive work with a strength coach, nutritionist, and physiotherapist, I was able to play for the Swiss national team for the first time.

How it all began

My passion for basketball began when I was eleven years old. Back then, my mother—a former Ivory Coast junior national team player—started training with the Gold Coast Wallabies . Her enthusiasm and example motivated me to take it to the court myself. Inspired by figures like Michael Jordan and Lewis Hamilton, over the years I developed into a quiet but determined fighter. While I'm often described as reserved in everyday life, my passion unfolds on the court.

Looking ahead

My vision is clear: I want to develop myself step by step and make the leap to the highest European level – the EuroLeague – in the coming years. To achieve this, I train daily until I'm exhausted. I place particular importance on the continuous work with my team of specialists who support me in reaching my full potential. The path is challenging, but I'm ready to give it my all.
